    • Worked on a GCP region migration (BigQuery and the core GKE infrastructure) and improved the Terraform and Helm stack along the way.
    • Led the ClickHouse migration with the data and backend teams: wrote the plan, the RFC and the architecture documents, and moved to the official Helm chart and operator.
    • Shortened time to production by tuning the Argo pipeline and cutting GitHub merge times with merge queues and faster checks.
    • Secured GitHub Actions with SHA pinning and GitHub Environments.
    • Led IAM work: Workload Identity, service account design, and the IAP OAuth API deprecation migration.
    • Made apps faster and clusters cheaper with GKE Compute Classes and Cloud Run.
    • Contributed to internal Go tools: certificate auto-renewal with ACME and Let's Encrypt, Terratest suites, Kubernetes secret management.
    • Daily infrastructure support for developers, including preview environments; incidents and postmortems the SRE way.

    • Owned the reliability and Kubernetes deployment of Slovenia's public warning system, across four national mobile operators.
    • Deployed it on on-premises Kubernetes (RKE2) for high availability: national cell-broadcast alerts, offline map servers and real-time monitoring.
    • Built and ran the monitoring stack (Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager) with a custom Python webhook server for 24/7 support.
    • Wrote Python and Bash automation for high availability (DRBD, SCTP) and a Go TUI for Helm value overrides.
    • Joined the LU-Alert project two weeks after starting and finished it in the lead integration role.

    Mar 2022 – Nov 2023
    • Ran the large Kubernetes platform at Société Générale: more than 50 clusters and 20,000 pods on a private OpenStack cloud, used by hundreds of developers.
    • Handled the full cluster lifecycle, OS and Kubernetes upgrades included, as part of 24/7 L2 support.
    • Wrote a Python metrics scraper that exports to Elasticsearch.
    • Internship: built a hyperconverged bare-metal Kubernetes cluster with Rancher, Harvester and KubeVirt, which led to the CKA.
